Brunswick Hall: Our adult mental health in-patient hospital program provides a safe and therapeutic environment in which patients from age 18 through the life span can begin the recovery from illness that has become so severe that they can no longer function in their everyday life. Hospitalization provides the 24 hour
professional care and support required to stabilize symptoms and improve psychosocial functioning that, left untreated, interrupts independent, meaningful and satisfying life, work and relationships. Areas of immobilizing conflict can successfully be resolved and coping skills acquired will enable resumption of previous functioning. The nature and scope of presenting problems are managed through an interdisciplinary individualized treatment plan.Medical issues are managed by our internal medicine consultants.
